Innovative New Products for the Entertainment Control Industry

We are proud to introduce a lineup of four Pro I/O Network Interfaces which will make it possible to take control of animatronics, mechanical action equipment, remote lighting and environmental lighting over a regular Ethernet network.

The Pro I/O lineup debuts at the 2011 IAAPA Attractions Expo with four interfaces in the varieties: DMX-512, Relay-8, Analog-8, Digital-32. The devices connect over regular Ethernet networks, requiring no special network architecture. The main advantage of these units is the ability to act as an interface to numerous output standards. This allows customers to control lighting, animatronics and countless other devices without investing in expensive proprietary systems.

Each Pro I/O comes standard with an impressive list of features:

  • Ethernet Connection
  • Two RS232 Connections
  • RS485 in/out for daisy chaining

  • ArtNet Support
  • 24 Character Alpha Numeric Display
  • Power Supply Over Daisy Chain

  • Compatible with Numerous PC Control Programs

The various communication ports including; Ethernet, USB, RS232 and RS485 make Pro I/Oʼs well suited for many control applications. When connected to a PC based system they act as interfaces to external devices for controlling effects, as in 4D/5D cinemas. Or when connected to Weiglʼs WEMC-1 ProCommander the Pro I/O interfaces provide solid-state, stand alone playback of prerecorded shows with no computer required.

The four Pro I/O interface varieties are:

  • DMX512: featuring a full universe of DMX-512
  • Relay-8: containing eight high-powered relay outputs
  • Analog-8: outputting eight analog channels
  • DO32: providing thirty-two digital outputs
