Great Wolf Lodge locations throughout the country utilize Weigl controllers to handle their entire lobby experience. Spanning decades of varying show styles and creations, each location each has a unique technical asset and challenge. Earlier installations of the show contained full theatrical dimmer systems, multiple channels of audio and 4-6 moving head fixtures, all synchronized with over a hundred movements of animation. 
Other effects over the years have included low-lying fog, bubbles and most recently all LED RGB fixtures (ETC Lustra+) and moving mirror effects to replace and augment the original moving heads. Each night at 9AM, 8PM & 9PM (times may vary by location), the show is started automatically by a touchscreen controller located accessible to the front of house staff.
The latest incarnation: a magical experience for all ages, the new “Forest Friends” show helps guests kick off their day in a fun, imaginative way, and it brings to close a day of memories and special family moments from their Great Wolf Lodge experience. LifeFormations strategically placed screens with 3-D animated characters in the background and animatronic characters in the foreground. 4D effects such as water, bubbles and video effects help bring these shows to life.
